The Best Viagra Alteratives

The Best Viagra Alternatives

I have never been a fan of prescription medications.  They usually come with a slew of side effects and even with insurance, can cost an arm and a leg.  Sexual performance drugs like Cialis and Viagra are expensive, running about $20 per pill, and in most treating erectile disfunction with prescription medications is unnecessary.   In fact, there are many natural Viagra alternatives that are safer, cheaper, and often work just as well.

I have been using a variety of natural supplements to help ensure my body has everything it needs to perform properly and the results have been great.  I feel better over all.  I have more energy, confidence and my sex-life is better than ever before.  Below are a combination of natural supplements I have used that have made the most difference.

Korean Red Ginseng

ginsengKorean Red Ginseng has been used to boost sex drives for thousands of years for one reason – it works.  I lived in Korea for over a year and the locals swear by it.  There are red ginseng stores scattered throughout Seoul and people buy it without giving a second though.  People even buy ginseng in the form of candies and teas and use it on a regular basis, regardless of age.

I was skeptical athirst until my friend gave me some as a present.  It works in a very similar way to ED medications by improving blood flow and relaxing you blood vessels.  Since I moved back I found that you can get it shipped directly from Korea.  The brand I was using is even available on Amazon in the US.  Who would have guessed?

L-Arginine

largineL-Arginine is a naturally occurring amino acid found in plant and animal proteins, which helps in the production of nitric acids.  Much like ginseng these are known help to relax blood vessels and improve circulation.

L-Argineine is also commonly used as a supplement to help improve energy and concentration.  It is sometimes even used as a study aid, and helps to keep you focused.  It is also known for its effects for improving rest at night.  I usually take one right before bed an I wake up feeling alert and refreshed.  A 3-month supply is also super cheap starting as low as $7 for 100 capsules (viagra is $100 for 5 pills by comparison).

L-Tyrosine

ltyrosineL-Tyrosine, like L-Arginine is also an amino acid found mainly in meats and other proteins.  It is often used to help boost mood, attention, mental and physical stamina as it is an essential building block for proteins in the body.

L-Tyrosine and L-Arginine are often taken together as their effects are beneficial to one-another as they both perform similar functions in the body.  Like L-Arginine, these run about $7 a bottle.

Garlic Supplements

garlicThis is probably the most mild remedy on the list, but garlic is known among foods for its sexual performance benefits.  Garlic capsules are also great because they offer all the great effects of garlic without the bad breath.  Garlic will improve your circulation and make getting aroused faster and easier.

With a little research and experimentation I have found that taking a daily supplement helps my sex drive, mood and overall energy. Currently I am taking a mixture of L-Arginine, L-tyrosine and Korean Ginseng.  Each provides different benefits, and when used in combination has made me feel leaps and bounds better in my day-to-day life and in the bedroom.
